Approach & quality

Five stages, each with something you can check.

We work in stages so you always know what has been decided, what is in progress and what comes next.

  1. 1

    Understand

A conversation and short written brief: users, tasks, constraints, budget range and what success looks like.

  2. 2

    Shape

Flows and wireframes. We agree what the first version includes and, just as importantly, what it leaves out.

  3. 3

    Design

Visual design and a clickable prototype, tested with a few real people where possible.

  4. 4

    Build

Development in short cycles with test builds or a staging site you can use yourself.

  5. 5

    Prepare & release

Checks, store or hosting set-up, policies and a release plan, followed by a review of what to improve.

Quality criteria

What we check before calling something ready.

  • Core tasks can be completed by a first-time user without help.
  • Text contrast and touch targets meet WCAG 2.2 AA as a working target.
  • Pages and screens work with keyboard, screen reader basics and larger text sizes.
  • Forms validate clearly and never lose what someone has typed.
  • Personal data collected is the minimum needed and is described in a privacy notice.
  • Accounts, keys and source code are held in the client’s name.
  • A written release checklist has been completed and signed off.

Honest achievements

What we can truthfully say.

We are not going to show invented awards, client logos or performance statistics. This website does not list case studies because we only publish work with a client’s explicit permission.

What we can say: the company is registered in the United Kingdom, operates from the West London address shown, and works to the published process and criteria on this page. Ask us directly and we will discuss relevant experience openly.
